Make It Monday With Linda - Scrapbook Process #11 *XOXO

Hola!!!

I am so sorry that I am posting so incredibly late on the blog, to be honest Imelda is the one that keeps up with this and she normally makes the post when it slips my mind. She is now away on a little snowboarding trip so its up to me to get this week going.

For some time now I have been on Pinterest just browsing and looking at layouts to get some ideas of what colors to pair with orange. I came accross a layout on that I really liked and thought to myself just go with it. They used the XOXO and that is what stood out when I seen the layout....So naturally I decided to do one of my own. I used my sisters Shiloutte and cut out the XOXO in white cardstock,

and the background is a faint greyish blue cardstock. the the patterend paper well, if you don't know me already I am all about using my scrap bin. I also used tissue paper, and I can thank IMELDA for that, she uses alot more mixed media than I do and just watching her create is awesome!!!!!!

This picture is of my daughter when we were on a cruise and she was sitting in the orange stroller and just those eyes.... how can you not make a layout just for this picture!!!

I hope that you like it as much as I do, and if you have any questions or just want to say HI.. Make sure to leave a comment below!!!

Make it Monday With Imelda- Scrapbook Process # 4 *A Boy & His Tia

Good Morning Everyone,
It's Imelda here with another scrapbook layout process video. This layout was created for the Scrapbook.com December Scraplift Your Favourites, Hoarders, and Mixed media challenges. My inspiration can be found in the Scrapbook.com gallery. It was created by Kris Berc. Here is layout:

I really liked her work with the background and the pop of black throughout. I emulated that with gesso and mists for the background. I also used gesso and a cloud stencil. For the black I used it for layering and my Heidi Swapp banner. Here is my take:

Hope you enjoy!

Make it Monday With Linda - Scrapbook Process #2 *Hooray Lets Go

Hi Everyone!

Our second scrapbook process video has been posted! So sorry about not updating the blog for this video post sooner, but I have been preparing for an interview I have coming up in the next couple of days.

So my sister Linda has a bit of a different scrapbook style than I do, but I would say she is the one to thank for getting us all started in the scrappy life. My mom has always been so creative with everything, and we all take after her, but Linda was the one to introduce us to paper crafting!

In this video she used mostly scraps left over from another layout she had worked on in order to convert them into a two page spread. The materials she used were:
Twine & Ink enamel shapes in pink and white
Doodle Twine in black
Blea & Ivy clear stamps by Kaiser Craft
Studio Calico stamp set and black rubber alpha
Staz On ink in black
Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze in Sassy Silver
and
Sprinklers Farmhouse collection - Screen Door

You can find the video here:

We hope you enjoy!
Leave us a comment or let us know if you have a request, suggestion or question!

Have a great day!
